About Suzanne Hansen

Suzanne Hansen grew up in the small town of Cottage Grove, Oregon. After attending Northwest Nannies Institute in Portland, Oregon, she moved to Los Angeles, where she worked as a live-in nanny before receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Linfield College. Throughout her professional healthcare career, she has served as a high-risk labor and delivery nurse, lactation specialist and childbirth educator.

Presently, Hansen is a “stay-at-home-and-work mom.” She and her sister, Cindy, recently co-founded Ruby Sky Publishing, which is dedicated to making a difference in young people’s lives by representing writers whose works will help parents raise healthy, educated and well-adjusted children. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to charities that support this mission.

Drawn from her own professional and personal experience, as well as extensive interviews with fellow nannies, Hansen’s memoir “You’ll Never Nanny in This Town Again!” – The True Adventures of a Hollywood Nanny marks the author’s debut on the world stage of non-fiction.

Hansen resides in Portland, Oregon, with her husband and two children.
